ess will use Hall 8 of the NEC: a single-entrance, pillar-free hall, offering flexible options for island and peninsular paces, and an even distribution of floor traffic. Show features include coffee points on the show floor, an open-access presentation theatre plus all conference delegates will take lunch in the exhibition.
The NEC is only 75 minutes from central London by direct train and also adjoins Birmingham International Airport, which offers direct flights to most UK and European cities.
The central location of the NEC is key to its success as an exhibition venue. It can be reached in less than 2 hours by car from almost every major population centre in England. The NEC has spacious loading bays and offers free exhibitor parking.

Getting there – travel directions and site maps
By Car
Travelling North on the M42, exit at Junction 6 and follow the signs to The NEC. Once on site, follow the signs for your event to the relevant car park.
Travelling South on the M42, exit at Junction 6 and follow signs to The NEC. Once on site, follow the signs for your event to the relevant car park.
Travelling South on the M6, exit at Junction 4 and follow signs to The NEC. Once on site, follow the signs for your event to the relevant car park.
Travelling North on the M6, exit at Junction 4, keeping to the left and following signs to The NEC. Once on site, follow the signs for your event to the relevant car park.
Car Parking
The car park allocated to your event is North 2-7 during open times and for build up and breakdown please follow the signs.
By Train
To travel by train to The NEC, your destination station is Birmingham International. Please check before setting out that your train stops at this station, as some do not.
On arrival at Birmingham International, take the bridge link from the station to The NEC following the signs. The escalator or lift at the end of the bridge link will take you down to the main Piazza. Follow the signs for your event to the Hall 8.

By Air
A frequent Skyrail Transfer service runs between the Airport and Birmingham International Train Station. Follow the bridge link and signs from the station to The NEC.
